A 39-year-old Hollywood star, Chris Hemsworth, best known for embodying Thor in the Marvel saga, recently released an image imagining what he might look like at 85.
“Turning 85 in a blink of time isn’t so jarring,” Hemsworth remarked in the caption.
The photos were created to celebrate the documentary series No Limits: With Chris Hemsworth / Limitless, a project where the actor explored his own genetic makeup and the chance that it could shape his health future. Scientists found two copies of the APOE4 gene in his DNA, a detail that is linked with a higher risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. Hemsworth wasn’t shocked by the discovery, noting that his grandfather also battled the condition.
“This realization pushed me toward taking care of myself more. Now that the press tour is wrapping up, I’m heading home to spend time with my kids and my wife,” he said.
The footage also features Elsa Pataky, Hemsworth’s wife, who agreed to participate in a special segment showing what she might look like at 80 years old.

Regarding the series, it follows Hemsworth as he pursues ways to maintain vitality, health, and energy over the long haul. The message is about finding practical, sustainable routines that support longevity, rather than chasing a fantasy of perpetual youth.
