Footage from the Glyukoza concert in Krasnoyarsk has sparked debate after spectators claimed the performance appeared biased and misrepresented on stage. One attendee named Diana described the experience to socialbites.ca, noting that while the show was enjoyable, the overall audio and video quality on the side monitors was disappointing. She also expressed embarrassment over the online discussions about the artist among local residents.
“We are not fans of the singer, but we know a few songs and try not to miss such events. We stood in the front row and could see the performer up close. She looked very slim, well-groomed, and almost makeup-free, with a striking energy. We sang and danced along. The low-quality sound on the side screens and the distorted image were big drawbacks for the organizers. I am ashamed of the Siberians who post harsh reviews. Some commentators hadn’t attended in person and were judging the performance from a video captured on a bulky stage screen, with a large phone, and in dim lighting”, Diana shared.
According to the witness, Glyukoza reportedly used explicit language in one song, but the crowd seemed to approve. The attendee argued that certain provocative gestures were part of the artist’s stage persona rather than personal missteps.
“The song included obscenities. Before the performance, Glyukoza asked several times which version the audience preferred, whether the censored or the explicit version. The crowd of thousands chose the explicit version and sang along. There were indecent movements at the start of the concert. It is true there was a deliberate gesture in the groin area, but that is part of the stage image, not a misstep. The show began with several such moments before many children in the first row were noticed. In some songs the backing track was used, leading to questions about live singing. The Glyukoza project began as a musical cartoon concept, after all, not a traditional concert”, the witness stated.
“I am ashamed by the vulgar language used by some guests”, she added.
Following the event, many attendees remained to seek autographs and photographs with the artist. “If not everyone enjoyed the concert, why did they stay after the final note to meet and take pictures?”
Local residents continued to debate the Krasnoyarsk show on social media. Some commenters argued the artist struggled to hit certain notes, appeared to touch herself on stage, and exhibited strange behavior. A few even suggested that the performer may have been under the influence.
Representatives for Glyukoza and the artist herself have not issued comments about the incident at this time.
Earlier rumors suggested that a stunt double might have appeared on stage during the controversial performance, though no official confirmation has been issued.
