The Cybervillage series has captivated an audience surpassing 3 million subscribers, a milestone revealed by the Kinopoisk online service through its press desk.

Its science fiction tale follows Nikolai, a farmer who makes his home on Mars. The story has drawn more than 3 million Plus subscribers, accounting for roughly a third of the service’s monthly reach. After the series’ success, talks began about bringing it to television — with a premiere slated for TNT on December 4.

The narrative unfolds in the year 2100 on the red planet, where Nikolai has settled into a peaceful life with his family in a cyber village. He tends a robotic farm and enjoys a steady, contented routine until Baragozin, the head of a large corporation, arrives on Mars with plans to construct a new factory on village land. Facing displacement, Nikolai sets off on a perilous journey back to Earth in hopes of appealing to Izhevsk Dynamics and its chairman, Baron Baragozin, to save his home.

The show’s central character is portrayed by Sergei Chikhachev. The corporate magnate is brought to life by Grigory Skryapkin, a familiar face from the YouTube project birchpunk. The cast also features Olga Zhevakina, Vlada Lukina, Margarita Silaeva, Elena Makhova, among others. The robotic cleaner is embodied by three actors in rotation — Sergey Avdeev, Igor Bogomyakov, and Dmitry Kondratyuk — with Sergey Burunov providing the character’s voice.

Earlier, Alena Doletskaya introduced a new series focusing on Moscow chefs, expanding the platform’s roster of original programming and reinforcing a growing interest in genre and culinary storytelling. (Kinopoisk press service)
