During the summer edition of the popular magazine on Telecinco, a fresh face joined the cast starting Tuesday. Beatriz Archidona stepped into the spotlight at the outset of the refreshed format, taking over responsibilities while Patricia Brown takes a brief break ahead of the new TV season.
After a quick recap of the topics slated for the morning, Archidona sat at the central chair and delivered a playful warning to her colleagues with a smile that suggested mischief.
“Since it’s my first day, anyone who doesn’t behave well will be invited to entertain us with a little number from the set,” she joked, alluding to a viral moment featuring the Vigo mayor Abel Caballero challenging José Luis Martínez-Almeida to a break-dance duel this weekend.
Patricia Pardo had announced last Friday that Beatriz Archidona would replace her during the summer holidays. The Galician journalist received a warm send-off, described as a friendly passing of the baton: “You know she is a remarkable professional, someone who has earned the trust of the team for many years. We can already feel that the best is yet to come.”
“I hope you enjoy it and benefit from it; this is an excellent training ground, and I wish you all the best. Shine as you know,” Pardo told Archidona. In a lighthearted gesture, she handed over a symbolic delegation sealed with a pitcher and a deck of cards containing a few notes: “This is social history material, so you can catch up.”
