Antenna 3 is preparing to bid farewell to one of its most iconic TV series. After more than a decade on the desktop screen, Love Is Eternal reaches its final chapter next week, and it will do so with style. The last episode will air in prime time, beginning Wednesday, March 6 at 22:45.

After twelve seasons, eleven years, and more than 2,800 episodes, the longest-running franchise on television will close a remarkable era. Antenna 3 has been a daily viewing staple in 2024, leading its segment with an 11.8% share and an average audience close to 1.2 million viewers daily.

An ending full of surprises

The Atresmedia network promises a final chapter filled with surprises, smiles, and yes, a few tears. In this last episode, the series, which has followed countless reunions, unexpected romances, fresh events, and investigations, will bid farewell to the story of one of the most beloved families of recent years, the Asturianos, who stay vivid in the historic Plaza de los Frutos.

Love Is Eternal features some of the most recognizable characters in this final stretch, including Itziar Miranda, Manuel Baqueiro, and José Antonio Sayagués, better known as Manolita, Marcelino, and Pelayo.

The enduring names who left a lasting mark on contemporary fiction return for the concluding chapters, including Paula Usero, Carol Rovira, Lucía Martín Abello, Cristina Alcázar, Alejandro Albarracín, Jonás Berami, Daniel Cabrera, Álvaro de Juana, David Janer, Ángeles Martín, Sofia Milan, Natalia Rodríguez, and Luz Valdenebro.

Dreams of freedom instead of Amar

Amar es para siempre pivots to Sueños de Libertad as its opening act for the final episode. The series, led by Natalia Sánchez, premiered last Sunday to favorable audience reception, pulling a 12.8% share and 1,860,000 viewers.

In addition, a simulcast with Nova saw a 14.1% increase, surpassing 2 million viewers and becoming the most watched fiction premiere in two years.

The momentum carried over with strong numbers after dinner, with Monday figures rising to 14.9% and more than 1.5 million viewers. Tuesday saw a 13.3% uptick, reaching around 1.3 million. Yesterday’s episode grew 15.1%, attracting about 1.4 million viewers and keeping the audience engaged as the finale approached.
