Tom Hardy attended a charity jiu-jitsu tournament where he won two gold medals. The match took place last Saturday in Wolverhampton.
The 44-year-old actor won in two disciplines: in gi (the so-called class clothing that participants can grab on to) and without gi. One of his opponents was an experienced military serviceman, 40-year-old Danny Appleton (Danny Appleton). The fighter had to give up or Hardy could have broken his arm.
“Imagine waiting for the semifinals, the first blue belt tournament, and Tom Hardy comes to the mat. It is an honor. He is strong as an ox, but I did my best. Awesome day!Appleton wrote on social media.
