The trial of American rap artist P Diddy (real name Sean Combs) will begin on May 5 in New York. TV channel reports this CNN.

When the start date of the trial was announced, Combs and several members of his family were also present in the courtroom.

“Combs was shackled at his ankles and was wearing a prison-issued khaki button-down shirt. He smiled broadly at his family as he was ushered into the courtroom by a U.S. marshal and waved briefly to them in the second row,” CNN reported.

17 September it became clearIt was stated that Combs was arrested in a New York court after the jury indicted him on violence and human trafficking charges. P. Diddy faces life imprisonment and at least 15 years in prison if convicted of three counts of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation of persons for the purpose of prostitution.

According to attorney Tony Buzbee, 120 people have accused P. Diddy of possible violence that occurred at the musician’s parties between 1991 and the present.

Formerly P. Diddy’s mother stood up for the rapper.
