Men are not recommended to use universal “2 in 1” and “3 in 1” products, and they are also advised not to buy cosmetics from their “other half”, since not all women’s products are suitable for men. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the expert of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, cosmetologist and Ministry of Health of Moscow Nikolai Potekaev.

“Often men buy the so-called “universal” products – “2 in 1”, “3 in 1”, without thinking about the features of these cosmetic products. When using such products, it should not be forgotten that the amount of sebum, the state of the skin microflora, and the thickness of the hair on the scalp, face and body are different. Therefore, it is recommended to use different methods,” said Potekaev.

According to him, men’s skin is 20% denser, that is, 20% thicker, than women’s.

“Men’s skin cells contain much more collagen, a protein responsible for processes such as strength, firmness and elasticity. Because of this feature, wrinkles appear later in men than in women. Therefore, men need to understand that not all the possibilities of their other half can be used by them,” Potekaev added.

The doctor noted that oily skin in men is more pronounced than in women, and therefore men very rarely suffer from dry skin, but much more often they experience acne symptoms in the form of closed and open camerons, inflammatory elements.

“Considering the characteristics of men’s skin, the shower gels used must cleanse the skin well without drying or irritating it. Therefore, shower gels should contain lactic and fruit acids that promote deep cleansing of the skin, as well as substances and antiseptics that improve skin regeneration. “After washing the skin of the body, it is recommended to use moisturizers for additional hydration,” concluded the beautician.

Svetlana Bogacheva, dermatologist and cosmetologist at the Klazko clinic recently said “socialbites.ca” what procedures are important to do before spring. Photorejuvenation procedures help get rid of blood vessels, remove puffiness and even out the tone of the face, but they are recommended to be carried out in the autumn-winter period, when there is no active sun.
