Hiding behind ‘La Pija y la Quinqui’ are two young people, Carlos Peguer and Mariang Maturana, who decided to record their conversation full of anecdotes and concerns and publish it as a podcast. They talk (with humor) about the things that matter most to us: love, cuckolding, employment, moonlighting, STDs, music, clothes, fights, friends, coming of age, celebrations… anything any of us could talk about on any given day. They are characterized by an innate freshness and creativity.
They started on YouTube, but now their podcasts can be listened to on various platforms, and despite the young age of the program, they managed to invite celebrities such as Rosalía and the President of the Government Pedro Sánchez. They also took their first professional steps as program scriptwriters and also work simultaneously as collaborators and writers on Europa FM’s morning radio show ‘Cuerpos Especiales’.
