Taylor Swift took the stage in a black dress with a deep neckline and high thigh slit that Italian fashion house Atelier Versace designed specifically for the singer. The singer’s look was completed with black stiletto sandals, various necklaces and diamond earrings.
“Dear Taylor! I’m proud to have created this dress for your gorgeous look at the MTV VMAs. Your music is immortal! Congratulations on the victory! I love you,” Versace creative director Donatella Versace wrote on her blog.
Singer Taylor Swift hit MTV VMA music ceremony record: Became the first artist to win the music video of the year award four times. While he won first place this year with his video “Anti-Hero”, he received this award in different years with his videos “It’s All Very Good: Short Film”, “Bad Blood” and “You Need to Calm Down”. The best pop video award was presented by NSYNC to the singer, who reunited to take the stage at this ceremony.
He received a total of nine awards, including Song of the Year and Artist of the Year.
Taylor Swift received 11 nominations, more than any of her other competitors.
