Designer Tom Ford bought a 10 bedroom and 9 bathroom mansion in East Hampton. It has been reported www.

The house belonged to the Jacqueline Kennedy family. Built in 1917, the property’s first owners were the paternal grandparents of the former First Lady, John Vernou Bouvier Jr. and Maud was Sergeant Bouvier. The family owned it from the 1920s to the 1950s. The mansion is located two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean at 121 Far Lane.

The site and all the buildings on it were put up for sale in May 2023 for $55 million and were sold to designer Tom Ford for $52 million, according to the publication.

Ford, 61, recently announced that he was leaving the eponymous brand after it was acquired by Estée Lauder for $2.8 billion in 2022. Ford unveiled its “last collection” in May 2023, while Estée Lauder said the creative director will remain head of the fashion house until 2023.
