Developers Studio Cut to Bits have announced their first project, an adventurous story-driven metroidvania called Venture to the Vile. The studio contains people who participated in its creation GTA 4, BioShock Infinite and Assassin’s Creed 4 black flag.
In the first trailer, the authors demonstrated the gameplay. In particular, you can see how the character fights enemies and overcomes obstacles.
The plot follows a character searching for his missing best friend Ella. On the way, the hero awaits various dangers and opponents, killing those who can absorb their “horror”. Thus, over time, the character acquires new skills and becomes stronger, but at the same time gradually loses its humanity and turns into a monster.
“Immerse yourself in a sinister world full of mysteries that evolve unexpectedly depending on the time of day or weather conditions”says the description.
Among the features, the developers highlight more than 40 memorable NPCs, complex puzzles and many secrets, as well as unusual pumping with a wide range of skills.
