After Elizabeth’s death, Prince William and Kate Middleton inherited the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, after which the new King of Great Britain, Charles III, declared his son the Prince of Wales and his wife the Princess of Wales. If previously Prince William’s fortune was estimated at £34m, it has been reported to be more than £1.1bn after receiving new titles.
The addition of new titles means that William and Kate will inherit vast amounts of land, forests, rivers and other assets. Sources said the Prince and Princess of Wales own around 128,000 acres of land in England and Wales’ 20 counties, some of which include Dartmoor National Park.
