It looks like Henry Cavill may actually be returning to the role of Superman. According to media reports, the new head of Warner Bros. Discovery David Zaslav is interested in seeing the actor play the superhero again.
It was previously known that Cavill did not want too much back and stated that he had no intention of resuming working with the WB until the film studio presented a strategy for further development of the universe. Ben Affleck said the same thing. However, it has since been announced that he will return in his role as Batman. It is possible that the same will happen to Cavill.
