The Melbourne Cup race has been held at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on the first Tuesday in November since 1876. The Fashion on the Field competition attracts hundreds of people each year hoping to win the Best Dressed and Best Costume titles. Competition takes place before the race starts.
Amelia and Eliza are the daughters of Princess Diana’s younger brother, Charles Spencer, from his first marriage to Catherine Victoria Lockwood. He has a sister, Kitty, and a brother, Louis, as well as a half-brother, Edmund, and sisters, Lara and Charlotte, born from their father’s second and third marriages to Caroline Victoria Freud and Karen Gordon.
Amelia Spencer married real estate agent Greg Mallett in March 2023. The marriage registration took place on top of a mountain near Cape Town, the capital of the Republic of South Africa.
