Mediaset updates its ethics with an action protocol for reality shows

media set announced this Friday that it has updated its code of ethics with a protocol of action that will impact all reality shows. As reported by the group in a statement, a set of mandatory principles Implemented with the aim of guaranteeing the health and well-being of the participants of this type of format.

Consisting of a total of ten basic rules, this protocol is structured around three parts. The first is dedicated to the selection process, Identification of ideal profiles by type reality.

Second foci in creating safe environments for participantsis to prevent them from being exposed to uncontrolled situations that will endanger their physical or psychological health. This section is also extending psychological assistance to competitors for at least two months after completion of the program.

The third and final part, prohibited or reprehensible behavior and attitudes. It also requires the implementation of adequate human and technical resources for preventive control and reactive response to prevent such behavior from occurring or to stop it immediately. In this case, the relevant transaction, communication and complaint protocols will come into play.
