Moon Knight director Mohamed Diab said he was annoyed by Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam. According to the director, the film studio should have moved the action of the film to Egypt.
I was very annoyed when DC sent Black Adam to a fictional country in the Middle East as an excuse not to cast actors from Egypt. This, of course, happens in Egypt. Presentation opportunities should not be missed. Although this is not a serious mistake, as the film is based on comics, where Egypt is not mentioned either.
At the same time, Diab noted that in Moon Knight, many of the actors and crew members (including the director himself) are from Egypt. According to the story, the main character received superpowers in the homeland of the pharaohs from the moon god Khonsu.
Moon Knight will air from March 30. As for Black Adam, recently Warner Bros. the comic book premiere has been postponed due to problems with the coronavirus.
