Royal sources have confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be invited to Charles III’s coronation, despite a series of scandals following the release of the Harry and Meghan series and memoir Spare. It has been reported Sun.
Officials, busy preparing for Charles III’s coronation, told The Sun that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would “definitely be invited” to at least an hour-and-a-half ceremony at Westminster Abbey (5/06/2023). The corresponding invitations will be sent out this month – to be received by 2,000 people, including the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. After all, they did not receive any reports that the King of Great Britain’s youngest son and his wife were excluded from the three-day celebration (06-08.05.2023), according to royals.
“Them [принц Гарри и Меган Маркл] they will definitely be invited and we work with the expectation of their future,” the source shared.
It remains unclear what the non-working members of the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, will do at the balconies and parades.
The coronation organizers hope the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will arrive in England before the announced weekend. Journalists are quoted as saying, “They’d better fly early so as not to turn the historic day into a circus.”
Formerly socialbites.ca said Charles III and Camilla held a reception at Buckingham Palace without Prince William and Kate Middleton.
