According to Kazarian, the first thing to consider when choosing the right bag for winter is what it is made of. “What do we prefer? “Warm” universal materials from which, in theory, the jackets themselves can be made. Leather, faux fur, tweed, suede, velvet or nylon bags in basic or pastel colors can really combine well with a down jacket.”
The stylist says that not every material is suitable for winter wear. “We are shelving light bags made of linen and satin, transparent PVC options, models with sequins and rhinestones. Fashionable beaded woven bags will also not be suitable for winter, especially small ones that will get lost in the volume of your down jacket, ”she emphasized.
Kazarian says that the choice of bag model depends on the length and shape of the down jacket. “Those who prefer short oversize jackets should prefer models with a rigid frame and a geometric shape. It is this option that will give the image structure and visually remove the excess volume. Do not overload the outfit with a large bag or deliberately large decor and ornaments: give preference to minimalism. Look at the baguette or the crescent shape,” he suggested.
The stylist advised to wear accent bags with down jackets, the length of which is below the knee. “Here the variations are not limited: it can be a tote bag or a soft padded bag made of eco-leather. Plus, you can’t go wrong with a wide-waisted diagonal strap: it’s accentuated and practical,” she said.
To make the painting look complete, Kazarian suggested completing it with shoes and accessories from the same palette as the bag.
