Jewelry brand Swarovski has changed its eyewear partner from Marcolin to EssilorLuxottica Corporation. writes about it www.

On Tuesday, December 6, the Austrian brand announced that it has signed a 10-year contract with EssilorLuxottica to design, manufacture and distribute sunglasses. The first collection, designed by creative director Giovanna Engelbert, will be presented in the fall of 2023 and will go on sale in September.

Francesco Milleri, Chairman and CEO of EssilorLuxottica, praised Swarovski’s ingenious design and attention to detail. “We always saw each frame as a work of art to be worn, so Swarovski and its history fit together very well,” he said.

Swarovski said the new collaboration aims to strengthen the brand’s position in the luxury category.

Swarovski eyewear collections have been produced by Marcolin since 2011.
