Ana Rosa Quintana’s editorials against the Government are getting tougher. Raising her critical stance against Pedro Sánchez this Tuesday, the presenter started her show this Thursday with a stern message to Irene Montero. Specifically, she accused the Minister of Equality of just saying yes yes yes for reducing the sentences for sex offenders by law.
“The robed faces. That’s how some of the power defines the Judiciary. They went from distorting the law to blowing up the separation of powers to insulting.”Ana Rosa began by focusing on Montero, as she “did not take responsibility for the mistakes” in the law in question.
Saying that “serious politicians put on their robes and start blaming,” the journalist continued: “They accuse the judges of lying. They accuse progressive and conservative judges. Male judges, female judges accuse women.” “They blame everybody, everybody and everybody”aimed to make fun of inclusive language.
Receiving the petition filed by Irene Montero to the judges, Ana Rosa said, “54.8% of the judges in Spain are women. “Ask them to study. Why not study law?”
The communicator also criticized Yolanda Diaz for keeping silent and for the Government showing its intent to review the law: “Do they really not know that criminals who go out on the street and the hundreds who will go will not go back to jail?” “Why do you want so many mentors? You really don’t know anything? Educate yourself or at least inform yourself”.
