The Disney+ streaming service will release an Indiana Jones TV series in the future. So far there is very little information about the project itself, it is only known that representatives of Disney and Lucasfilm have discussed this topic. They also tried to find a screenwriter, but in vain.

The events of the series are supposed to take place in the Indiana Jones universe, but so far the project has no director or a completed script. It is also unclear whether the series will be independent from other films or whether it will be a “bridge” to the fifth film, which is expected in 2023.
There’s also no word on the casting yet, but it’s unlikely Harrison Ford, who will star in the films, will be there. It will most likely also be a spin-off or something. Lucasfilm declined to comment at this time.
At the same time, if the series comes out, it won’t be the first show about Indiana Jones. Two seasons of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles were released in the early 1990s, and four more TV specials were released between 1994-96. Apparently it did, because the game didn’t even make the top 100 of the Steam world top.
