HBO has canceled the fifth season of Westworld. The reason for this was the declining ratings, which started during the third season and only deteriorated in the fourth. At the same time, in 2016 the series was considered promising.

If the first season was positively rated by 87% of journalists on Rotten Tomatoes, then the fourth – only 76%. And the project’s ratings have dropped from 93% to 55% for several years now.
The decision to end the series came to light nearly three months after the final episode of the fourth season released, although show creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy have repeatedly discussed plans for a sequel.
The series’ conclusion is unrelated to Warner Bros. Discovery, owner of HBO and now trying to cut costs. The reason was precisely its declining popularity.🙌🏻 Hands on the table: Builds of a previously unreleased erotic game from Sega entered the network
