Wild Mint Art Camp Announces Vashana Sup Camp, a High-Culture Rafting Festival
The Wild Mint organization plans to host the high-culture festival Vashana Sup Camp, as announced to socialbites.ca by the event organizers involved in the rafting festival circuit.
From July 26 to 28, attendees at the festival will have the option to raft on the Vashana River independently and rent support boards as part of approachable promotional, carnival, and sporting activities designed to welcome a broad audience.
The centerpiece rafting program will revolve around carnival floats. A notable example is a wedding-themed float scheduled for July 26, inviting couples who are preparing to wed or are already planning their ceremony to participate in a festive flow down the river.
On Saturday, July 27, participants will experience carnival-style costume rafting, followed by a pajama rafting event on July 28. Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite pajamas and enjoy a relaxed, morning-rhythm ride. Among the creative costume ideas highlighted by organizers are a second life for a wedding dress and tuxedo, playful representations of a dragon or Cheburashka, Spider-Man or the Hulk, a prop pillow, a nightcap, or a morning newspaper. Prizes will be awarded for the most imaginative ensembles.
A warm-up session will precede the rafting activities, and a team of professional instructors will guide participants through every stage of the watercourse to ensure safety and enjoyment.
The camp site will also feature sanded zones dedicated to beach sports. On July 27 and 28, a men’s beach rugby tournament will take place with the participation of the Tula Rugby Federation of the Russian Federation of Sporting Organizations. Additional activities on Saturday and Sunday include rugby master classes conducted by a renowned international sports figure, a multiple Russian rugby champion, a multi-time European rugby champion, and former captain of the CSKA men’s rugby team—Petr Botnars. Master classes and a beach volleyball tournament are anticipated with the support of the Tulitsa volleyball club and the Tula Regional Volleyball Federation.
For attendees seeking restorative and mindful experiences, a substantial program block is being prepared. This includes meditation and breathing practices, yoga sessions, master classes on Thai massage and nail artistry, as well as opportunities to explore hanging and ethnic musical instruments, participate in tea ceremonies, and engage in a variety of cultural activities that enrich the festival experience.
Residents of the Wild Mint festival community — FANKIN, The Translators, CARDIO KILLER, Breakpillzz, Salvador, and PYTHONS 3000 — are slated to perform at Vashana Sup Camp. DJs including U-Jeen, Alex Believe, Timmy, Promi, Pumbum, and Tekno Police Officer are scheduled to deliver live sets that align with the festival’s creative spirit.
The festival is organized by the collaborative teams behind Wild Mint, BoogelWoogel, and Splav is Love rafting events, with tickets available for purchase online. The Wild Mint festival made its mark earlier in the year with a successful edition in the Tula region, underscoring the event’s growing regional appeal.
In related notes, public commentary from prior years has highlighted the presence of extraordinary performers and notable guests associated with the broader festival ecosystem, signaling continued interest from both local communities and traveling fans.
