The widow of Vladimir Menshov, actress Vera Alentova, attended the first gathering of the Drama Theater troupe named after AS. Pushkin, according to kp.ru.
Eyewitnesses noted that the beloved artist has slimmed down considerably and adopted a fresh hairstyle. Alentova stepped onto the stage in a silk polka dot dress paired with a loosely cut black raincoat, engaging with fellow performers and sharing memories of her recent summertime travels.
An engagement ring, a keepsake from her late husband, caught the eye as she moved through the room, sparkling subtly on her finger.
Known for her iconic role in the film “Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears,” Alentova spent 59 years with Menshov, from 1969 until his passing in 2021. Their long marriage produced a daughter, Yulia, who has herself become a recognized actress and television host in her own right at the age of 54.
Andrey Gordin, Alentova’s grandson, recently left Russia at the end of June with his wife to begin a honeymoon in Kaş, a scenic town on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. The move is seen as a fresh chapter for the family, underscoring their continued ties to the landscape of storytelling and cinema that first brought them into the public eye.
Earlier, Yulia Kovalchuk spoke about her partner and family life, declining to disclose intimate details about her relationship with Chumakov. The public has followed these updates with a mix of curiosity and respect for the privacy her family has chosen to preserve, illustrating the delicate balance between public interest and personal space in the lives of public figures .
