The Tsarskoye Selo Museum-Reserve welcomed its first riding pony, known as Caramel, a development reported by the reserve’s press service on the Telegram channel.
According to representatives, the pony is intelligent and tranquil, embodying the qualities needed to work with children.
The press service noted that Caramel quickly grasped his role, behaving gently with young riders and helping them understand moments of control and mounting. He is described as patient and reassuring, guiding novices through the basics with quiet confidence.
Caramel has his own stall equipped with all the amenities in the stables of the historical complex known as the Imperial Farm. He already participates in museum events, providing a practical, interactive experience for visitors.
A riding school opened in the reserve’s equestrian complex in June 2023. It hosts participants aged seven and older, as well as adults, offering guided riding routes through Alexander Park to combine historical ambience with outdoor activity.
