A popular TikTok creator, Arina Shalnova, shared a heartbreaking update about her family. She stated that her two-year-old daughter, Emily, died after a fall from a fifth-floor window. The blogger, who is 20 years old, posted the information in stories on his Instagram page. The account owner is noted as controversial, with restrictions in Russia related to a particular platform owner.
Shalnova described the incident, saying a very small apple tree near the building appeared to shield the child in the moment of the fall. Despite the tree, Emily hit the concrete beneath the window. According to the post, the child’s condition was extremely serious from the outset. Medical notes indicated no damage to internal organs or the spine, but the head sustained severe injuries, including fractures to the frontal bone and two parietal regions, along with brain swelling caused by the trauma.
Emily passed away on June 10, which was her birthday. The parent confessed an ongoing sense of guilt, imagining what could have been done differently to prevent the accident. The message emphasized a vow to carry the weight of the event for the rest of life, alongside the painful memories of that day, even though others described it as an accident.
The child’s death has drawn attention from Emily’s followers, with the blogger’s TikTok audience surpassing 450,000. The creator had previously gained popularity by sharing endearing videos featuring his daughter, which resonated with many viewers and helped build a large online community.
