The Central Television program featured Vadim Takmenev offering a pattern-like reading of recent misfortunes among the Superstar jury members. The report appeared on NTV’s website and was picked up by viewers who follow the show closely.
Takmenev suggested a kind of bad luck had struck the jury. Natasha Koroleva, who was not in Moscow at the time, contracted a mysterious illness and is currently in the process of recovery. Lera Kudryavtseva recently suffered a broken leg, and Takmenev noted that their careers have been marked by a string of unfortunate incidents that, in his view, are oddly well synchronized.
Singer Stas Pieha also appeared in Takmenev’s studio after having to cancel a concert due to a voice problem. Pieha spoke about his condition during the interview, stating that he is feeling better and hopes to return to the stage soon. On air he did not speak directly, but instead left a message on a chalkboard indicating that doctors have advised vocal rest for the time being.
The host also reached out to Kudryavtseva for live comment regarding her knee injury. She described a dramatic moment in which she heard a loud cracking sound in her knee after a jump during rehearsal for a new project on NTV. She recalled the fall on stage and the severe pain that followed.
On February 13 it was announced that Stas Pieha canceled a concert in Orel due to health reasons. He acknowledged that a ligament injury occurred after performing at a solo show in Voronezh, which was linked to a bout of tracheitis that affected his performance ability.
There had also been reports that the Chernozem festival in Voronezh might be canceled because the lineup could not be fully secured due to the health issues affecting several performers.
