A Moscow-based producer is accused of defrauding DJ Ivan Solomatin by promising a video message of congratulations from Mikhail Boyarsky in exchange for money. The details come from Life.ru.

According to the broadcast, 31-year-old DJ Ivan Solomatin sought help from a producer friend to obtain a celebratory video for his performance schedule. The producer claimed he could arrange the recording but insisted on an upfront transfer of 25,000 rubles, after which he vanished. The concert director for Boyarsky told the program that this producer was unfamiliar to him and that he had not heard of such a person before.

Reports suggest that law enforcement had already received two complaints about the same producer. One musician said he was promised a tour in Sochi and another in Brazil, with losses of 16,000 rubles and 215,000 rubles respectively. Police are examining possible fraud in these cases.

Earlier coverage noted that scammers had targeted actress Yulia Avsharova with similar deceit.
