Rock band Slot from Moscow is set to perform in St. Petersburg. Organizers shared the news with socialbites.ca, confirming the upcoming shows.
The first concert will take place on December 9 in St. Petersburg at the SOUND club. A week later, on December 15, Slot will return to Moscow, performing at the VK Stadium concert hall. Fans can expect the band to run through its catalog of hits, including Fight, Chernukha, Circles on the Water, and Two Wars.
Slot traces its origins back to 2002, when Igor Lobanov launched the project alongside Sergei Bogolyubsky and Denis Khromykh. The group issued its debut album in 2003, featuring Teona Dolnikova on guest vocals. Dolnikova’s involvement was brief, as she departed the band later that year.
Today, Slot is led by Lobanov and Bogolyubsky, with Daria Stavrovich, Nikita Muravyov, and Vasily Gorshkov rounding out the lineup. Across more than two decades, the band has released nine studio albums, two remix collections, two mini albums, two live DVDs, twenty singles, and a variety of soundtrack contributions. Their sonic palette is diverse, spanning alternative rock, metalcore, nu metal, rapcore, and electronic rock, reflecting a willingness to blend genres and push boundaries.
Slot also engages with a wide festival circuit, bringing its high-energy performances to events such as Slot Fest, Invasion, Kubana, Neighbouring World, Crimeafest, Dobrofest, Wild Mint, Fly Away, and Island. These appearances underscore the group’s appeal across audiences who crave intense live experiences and genre-crossing soundscapes.
Recent discussions among fans and industry observers have highlighted Slot’s continued popularity in Russia and abroad, with anticipation building for upcoming tours and festival appearances. The band’s evolving sound and dynamic stage presence remain a hallmark, drawing listeners who follow the band’s steady evolution over the years.
