Singer Grigory Leps explained the reasons for stepping away from the jury panel on the vocal television program “Voice” during a conversation on Tatyana Navka’s show “Team.”

The performer emphasized that no one was forcing him to leave, and that his departure was a voluntary choice grounded in his current life and career dynamics. At first, he admitted some doubt about the possibility of performing as a mentor on The Voice, yet over time he grew to enjoy the role and the seat of guidance. The arrangement gave him a new perspective on the show and its process, even if he ultimately decided not to continue in that capacity.

“I contributed two seasons and now I feel the pace is too demanding for me. I am older, my touring schedule is full, and the show benefits from the expertise of a wide array of advisers who come before and after me. Also, I cannot single-handedly shape a contestant’s artistic path. I do not possess the power to teach someone to sing,” Leps noted in the discussion.

According to the artist, his current stance includes a deliberate move away from monetizing the promotion of younger artists. He believes that true popularity stems from possessing a distinctive voice and proven talent, rather than chasing large-scale campaigns or promotion budgets. This conviction shapes his view of the music industry and the pathways to lasting recognition.

“Perhaps there is room for my 14-year-old goddaughter in a more limited, mentor-guided capacity. We shared a moment performing the song ‘Spring,’ which was meaningful for us. They approached me with offers to join their team, but I declined. It is not that I do not wish to see aspiring artists succeed. If someone is truly talented, they should write their own songs and seek collaborators who can provide real help. Seek funding on their own terms, as I have my own children and grandchildren to consider, and I cannot allocate resources for others at this stage,” Leps explained in a candid reflection about his future involvement in talent development.

In other related news, the public figure Philip Kirkorov has also spoken about significant changes in his personal health journey, announcing notable weight loss. This development has been watched closely by fans and media alike, reflecting how public figures navigate personal milestones alongside their professional responsibilities.
