The dispute focused on a total amount of 363,993.89 euros claimed for performances conducted during the festival editions held in 2018 and 2019. A Madrid court initially ruled in favor of SGAE, a decision that the festival management challenged through an appeal. The Madrid Provincial Court of First Instance ultimately affirmed the initial judgment, sustaining the verdict in favor of SGAE.
