Sergey Lazarev: Moments on the Golden Gramophone Carpet and Career Milestones

Sergey Lazarev opted not to be photographed on the carpet alongside ballerina Anastasia Volochkova, according to MUZ TV. At the Golden Gramophone ceremony, Volochkova approached Lazarev with an invitation to pose together, but he declined. The singer later said there was nothing he was ashamed of in the moment. He explained that he simply did not have the chance to take pictures with every admirer who wished to capture a moment with him. A journalist noted that Lazarev did manage to take a photo with Philip Kirkorov, and Lazarev responded with a light shrug, saying, Okay then, Philip did it. In November, Lazarev spoke about throat issues during a concert in Yaroslavl, noting that his vocal cords felt unusually dry due to heat from the stage lights. Despite the discomfort, he expressed satisfaction with the performances and praised Yaroslavl as a wonderful city. Lazarev, known for his work with Smash!!, rose to fame after joining the group in 2000. He launched his solo career with the 2005 album Don’t Be Fake. He also represented Russia twice at the Eurovision Song Contest, finishing in third place in both 2016 and 2019.
