Rapper Pasha Technik did not appear for his show at the Bazzar club in Kazan, according to Life, citing sources close to the situation. The incident began when he arrived in the Republic of Tatarstan, checked into a hotel, and then vanished. The event organizers searched the streets of the city for the performer, trying to locate him amid growing concern.
One organizer admitted they had made every effort to secure Technik, but now found him running from the group and shouting that nothing mattered to him. The scene underscored the volatility surrounding the artist in the days that followed.
Ultimately, Technik was located in an intoxicated state. A video posted on his Telegram channel shows the rapper slurring his words, seated in the middle of a roadway, barely able to stand, and clearly not in control of his faculties at that moment.
In the video, the artist pledged to refund the money from the canceled performance. Following the turmoil, Technik’s concert in Chelyabinsk was cancelled as a precautionary measure.
Last summer, Technik entered rehabilitation after a period of drug-related issues. He had been placed in rehab amid a string of public incidents: in November 2022 he collapsed twice on the street, and prior to that experience he had fallen into a coma due to an overdose.
