Three administrative cases have been filed against rapper Alisher Morgenstern, who is recognized in Russia as a foreign agent. The charges allege noncompliance with prosecutors requests. A Telegram channel named Attention, news provided the initial reporting on the matter.

The channel explained that the case materials were received by the Savyolovsky Court in Moscow but were not reviewed there. Instead, they were transferred to another court whose jurisdiction has not yet been confirmed or received by the new court.

Should the proceedings proceed to a resolution, Morgenstern could face a fine of up to 1,500 rubles. The lawsuits concern alleged improper design of advertising posts on his Telegram channel, suggesting violations of administrative advertising rules.

The question of Morgenstern being labeled a foreign agent centers on political content published on his Telegram channel and videos on YouTube. Between 2020 and 2022, records show earnings exceeding 29 million rubles from Yoola Labs Ltd, a company registered in Israel, which has been cited in relation to these disclosures.

On the eve of Morgenstern’s public profile rise, supporters associated with Victims of the Terrorist Attack at Crocus City Hall urged his team to offer assistance. This reflects how the artist and his team have been involved in public responses following major incidents.

Earlier reporting noted that Morgenstern had paid 1 million rubles to a student who reportedly aided in saving more than 100 people during a terrorist attack, a claim that has contributed to the public perception surrounding the artist and his charitable actions.
