Reports circulating on a Telegram channel claim that pop star Philip Kirkorov faces a tax bill of 5.5 million rubles. The message alleges a total debt of 5,587,333 rubles, noting that two weeks earlier the amount was about half that figure.
The same outlet recalls a 2022 legal confrontation over an error in tax assessments linked to an apartment in central Moscow. According to Kirkorov’s representative, the artist was said to have an extra debt burden exceeding 4 million rubles.
In April 2023, Mash Telegram channel reported intentions to sue the singer for 4.5 million rubles. The action was initiated by Cultural Services, the organizer of a demonstration, which was interrupted amid protests by activists who voiced objections to Kirkorov’s involvement with a cross. The event was later described as a costly informational performance that did not proceed as planned, with the organizers citing budget issues and scheduling problems.
In the same period, Kirkorov’s attorney, Alexander Dobrovinsky, confirmed that a lawsuit had been filed alleging disruption of a concert in Voronezh. Subsequently, it was reported that the case had been withdrawn.
