The band and Williams stated that, because of the infection, four upcoming performances were postponed to allow for a week of rest and a strict treatment plan aimed at letting her body rebound and complete the tour when it is safe to do so. Williams expressed sincere regret that the illness would disrupt the schedule and disappointed fans, but emphasized the priority of her health and long-term well-being over the immediate needs of a show. She explained that her condition had not been improving during the last few performances, and after consulting a doctor, she chose not to push herself further in order to avoid making the situation worse. She wrote that she simply cannot physically cope with performing concerts at this time, underscoring the seriousness of the lung infection and the careful approach needed for recovery.
