The Federal Tax Service reportedly blocked the accounts of the Papa Roasts Meat restaurant owned by singer Sergei Zhukov, according to a Telegram channel called Puree.
The channel claims the venue owes roughly 35,000 rubles, covering rent, water, and electricity bills in addition to penalties. The restaurant is not currently in operation, though it has not been liquidated, as reported by Mash.
Papa fried meat, a grill cafe, opened in Simferopol in 2019. After the COVID-19 pandemic, organizational troubles emerged and the outlet reportedly closed.
On February 11, reports indicated that singer Stas Mikhailov liquidated the production center Creative Workshop due to low profitability. The artist submitted the necessary liquidation documents to the Federal Tax Service at the end of 2022, but the final decision to close the business was issued only recently, according to reported information.
The company has existed for about 12 years and has operated in performing arts, radio and television broadcasting, film and video production, and television programming. In 2021, the artist’s earnings from the company amounted to 685,000 rubles, while total income stood at 5.9 million rubles.
