Vakhtang Barabadze is named as the heir to the late actor Alexander Porokhovshchikov, who reportedly fought on the Ukrainian side before being removed from the conflict zone, according to Natalya Dmitrieva, Porokhovshchikov’s niece cited by MK.RU.
According to the report, a Russian court allegedly granted the actor’s inheritance to the Barabadze family, a claim that has sparked discussions about inheritance disputes affecting related families in the aftermath of the events in the region.
Alexander Porokhovshchikov was a prominent Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, as well as a director and scriptwriter. He died on April 15, 2012, following a heart-related medical event.
Earlier rumors claimed that, near Artemovsk, also known to Ukrainians as Bakhmut, a prominent athlete and sniper Bohdan Khodakovsky was eliminated while serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Khodakovsky was known as a Ukrainian champion in pole vaulting and a member of a Kyiv athletics team, and his reported actions included service as a sniper after entering the special operations zone.
Military correspondents noted the reported death of Khodakovsky near Artemovsk on May 15, a claim that has circulated in various summaries of the conflict’s developments.
There were additional reports indicating that a separate performance event in the Perm region, which had been planned in Tula, faced cancellation prior to execution.
