A 680 square meter installation in the heart of Madrid brings together twenty works by the artist, inviting constant interaction with visitors. The show unfolds across six distinct zones that trace the arc of the artist’s career: Intersecting Fates, Human Connections, Chromatic Skull, Rainbow Cave, Face-to-Face Corridor, and Retrospective Kaleido.
This event marks a bold departure from traditional museum formats, highlighting a new cultural space designed to engage audiences in active discovery. The Museo Gran Vía opens with this sweeping presentation, signaling the start of a vibrant era for contemporary exhibitions. Guests can not only immerse themselves in Okuda’s art but also explore locally produced gastronomic, decorative, and fashion items from nearby creators.
A standout feature of the Okuda exhibition is the When Art Changes Life space, housed in the former Aldao Jewelery vault. The Gran Vía Museum is located at 15 Gran Via. Inside this area, visitors will encounter a curated collection of objects and memories drawn from personal experiences that shape the artist’s unique visual language and character. “Through my art, I aim to express rooted visions for a fairer and more diverse world and to challenge what the future holds,” Okuda states (Attribution: Museo Gran Vía exhibition notes).
The show by the Cantabrian artist runs through November 30 and welcomes audiences daily from 11:00 to 21:00.
