OBK lands in Torrevieja on Tuesday, October 8, as part of the Street Food Market’s scheduled activities. The event offers free entry and joins a six-day program that brings the touring food market to the city. Attendees can expect a vibrant mix of affordable dishes, live music, and a range of free activities designed for all ages under the open-air sky. For travelers from Canada and the United States, this stop provides a friendly introduction to Spain’s seaside street food scene, with a festive, family-oriented atmosphere.
Food trucks will arrive on Tuesday, October 8 at 6:00 PM at Parque Las Naciones and will stay through Sunday, October 13 at the same hour. As in every edition of the Alicante Street Food Market Tour, visitors will be able to sample a varied gastronomic offer at accessible prices, complemented by music and free activities that celebrate the Valencian Community long weekend, all outdoors.
Activities for all ages
This edition will be inaugurated by the performance of OBK, led by Jordi Sánchez Ramos. It will take place on Tuesday, October 8 at 9:30 PM, marking the opening of a fair that will feature more artists in the days ahead. Over the six days, concerts will include a Beatles tribute by The Blister, a Queen tribute by Keeng, a Rolling Stones tribute by Control Stone, and a Mecano tribute by Siglo XXI. In addition, younger visitors will find activities and workshops throughout the festival.
During the festival days there will be DJ Alacant to entertain during the street food sessions when there are no live acts, and beverage bars will serve beer, soft drinks, and mojitos to accompany the food trucks. Street Food describes a market made up of trucks, vans, caravans, stalls, and carts with a vintage aesthetic, offering a broad, varied, and high-quality gastronomic selection. Its aim is to blend culinary culture with the enjoyment and use of public space.
