A fresh reality series titled Daily Life in the Maternity Ward, produced by the Yu channel in collaboration with Russian National Projects, is slated to premiere on February 27. The pavilion for the series promises an intimate, uncompromising look at the world inside a bustling maternity care environment.

More than just personal stories from expectant mothers, the program will pull back the curtain on the experiences of healthcare professionals as well. Viewers will witness the journey from the moment a woman steps toward the maternity hospital doors to the emotional moment the first cry signals a new life. The creators promise a transparent portrayal of the hospital workflow, including the entire internal process of delivery. Practical guidance and everyday wisdom will be shared to help families prepare for childbirth and navigate the hospital experience.

According to Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, the project highlights the supportive conditions built around motherhood. It shows how a comfortable, calm atmosphere is cultivated in medical facilities and how frugal, efficient technologies are used so that both newborns and their parents feel at ease during appointments. The show also outlines government measures designed to support families with children, including maternity capital, various monetary benefits, and family mortgage programs.

The production took place in a real Moscow maternity hospital and involved 24 real doctors and 24 expectant mothers, with the addition of 25 newborns born over the course of filming. Throughout the episodes, the authentic scenes from the hospital setting aim to offer a balanced view of care, options for labor and delivery, and the human side of medical work.

New episodes will air on Mondays at 19:00 on weekdays, inviting viewers to follow the unfolding stories and practical insights from frontline maternity care. The channel has also announced another upcoming project featuring a comedy series titled Hello, Future, with star Billy Crudup joining the cast from The Morning Show, signaling a broadening slate of new programming for audiences seeking both heartfelt real-life narratives and lighter entertainment.
