The events unfolded at the end of April when Vlasova fainted during a corporate gathering in Moscow. Her team escorted her to a dressing room and requested urgent medical help. Doctors confirmed heart failure and subsequently conducted a coronary bypass operation on April 25. She was placed on a ventilator as part of post operative care, and her condition required a medically induced coma to aid recovery.
