Comedian Natalia Medvedeva shared on the program “The Secret of a Million” that she chose the name Louise for her newborn daughter to introduce a softer, more gentle vibe into her child’s personality.
“A name carries weight. It helps shape who a person becomes; it can add strength or soften character. My partner and I are expressive by nature, often high-energy and a bit impulsive, and we worried that some names might amplify irritability or aggression. By choosing Louise, along with other thoughtful options, we aimed to nurture a calmer temperament,” Medvedeva explained on air.
In seeking the best fit, the comedian consulted a specialist who suggested names such as Louise, Milana, Arina, or Lada. Medvedeva admitted that even during her first pregnancy she had contemplated turning to a name expert. She had considered naming a son Mark, but the consultant warned that the name could come with a highly explosive personality trait, making behavior harder to manage at home.
“That insight made a real impression. It felt possible that some names might invite certain dynamics, and we wanted a balance between vitality and composure, especially in a busy household,” she reflected, noting how modern naming choices can echo through family life.
Earlier remarks from Sergey Lazarev touched on how Medvedeva plans to address the playful meme of the so‑called “disco grandma,” a running joke that has become part of her public persona, illustrating how celebrity commentary often blends humor with practical parenting considerations.
