The objective of this competition is to crown Miss Transformarte Spain 2023. The winner will receive a prize of 500 euros, a 400 euro photo book by Novofoto, and a performance commitment at the Canibal Lounge in Alicante. Additionally, the First Lady Transformarte 2023 will donate 250 euros, and the Second Lady Transformarte 2023 will donate 150 euros. Each winner will also be presented with a figurine crafted by the renowned Alicante ceramist Rafa Verdú.
The panel of judges includes professionals from the worlds of entertainment, culture, design, and communications. Featured names include the humorist and impersonator Bibi Malone, actor and broadcaster Tony Faro, and the Spanish Sign Language Song Festival organizer Joaquin Rodrigo. Sofia Loren, Miss Transformarte Spain 2021, will chair the jury, lending significant prestige to the proceedings.
The jury will assess entries based on creativity and originality, the design of costumes and makeup, the accuracy of the portrayal or interpretation, and the overall staging, with scores awarded accordingly.
Charly, host of the gala
The gala ceremonial master and comedian Charly will guide the event, introducing the evening and guiding the audience through each segment. Verónica Romero, a guest artist from Elche who is also a songwriter, will perform. She gained national recognition as a contestant in the first edition of Operación Triunfo in 2001, marking a milestone in her career.
Transformarte de Honor 2023 will honor Alberto Flores for his outstanding artistic career, acknowledging more than four decades on stage as a celebrated performer and a widely recognized figure in the world of performance.
Ticket prices are set at 15 euros in advance and 18 euros at the box office, offering accessible options for fans and supporters planning to attend.
At the conclusion of the gala, all contestants, guest artists, and spectators will be invited to the End of Party at Canival Lounge on Explanada, where the evening continues with entertainment and mingling in a relaxed finale.
