Mikel Erentxun, born in Caracas in 1965, has just arrived in Madrid by car from San Sebastián. He settles in by playing the opening notes on the piano, starting with Oh Siennasixth cut September, a double LP released by Warner in 2023. The project grew from the isolation of 2020 and echoes a long-standing fascination with Elton John since the seventies. Erentxun acquired a piano and began composing, initially aiming for a trio record. Meanwhile, he released Friends are calling, a Warner release from 2021, as a sign of movement. The person who conducted this study, with guests Duncan Dhu, confirmed that his songs had not faded from memory.
