Light Pavilion renewal at Matola restaurant in Elche, conducted by Esculpir el Aire, earned a Winner-Honorable Mention in the Architectural Design category at LOOP Design Awards yesterday.
The judging panel included celebrated professionals from Turkey’s leading architectural teams. Esteemed names in architecture, including Zaha Hadid, Renzo Piano, and Miralles Tagliabue, recognized the Alicante studio led by Jose Angel Ruiz Caceres for delivering a concept that embraces white as its core, creating a pristine form that manipulates light and permits air to circulate with ease.
Işık Mansion emerged from a philosophy aimed at addressing new questions born of the evolving global context. This modest building functions as a restaurant terrace, transforming into a fresh space that invites culinary experiences in a dynamic, responsive setting.
