Comedian Garik Kharlamov spoke on the show Meanwhile with Basta about a storyLev Leshchenko shared regarding his time in the army.
Lev Valeryanovich is described by Kharlamov as a legend. He is used to thinking of Leshchenko as a towering figure in the industry. During a recent event, Kharlamov approached Leshchenko and urged him to show respect, joking that he was a living relic and the last great personality still standing. Kharlamov recalled the moment vividly.
According to the comedian, Leshchenko answered that the American singer Elvis Presley had served in the army on the other side of the river. Kharlamov stressed that Presley indeed served in the vicinity and added that Leshchenko once served in Germany and had first hand stories to tell.
