TV presenter Ksenia Borodina sharply criticized on Instagram men who stay in frequent contact with their mothers, referencing the owner of Meta as an extremist who is banned in Russia.

Borodina shared a video in which a man discusses his bond with his mother. He notes that he speaks to her on the phone 20 to 25 times daily. He argues that his mother has the right to influence his life and stay informed about all his plans, even those involving his wife and children.

From Borodina’s viewpoint, this stance amounts to psychological violence. She joked that the man should schedule 24 daily calls to a psychologist.

“What, 20 to 25 times? I can’t understand it. Can you picture how it felt for his wife and his children? Look at how priorities are arranged. What kind of madness is this? Why? Why?” the TV host exclaimed.

Borodina added that in this scenario the man’s mother conspicuously acts as his partner by making decisions and sharing every detail. She clarified that there is nothing inherently wrong with calling one’s parents, but the frequency is excessive. Adults have their own lives and concerns, she explained.

Fans echoed Borodina’s stance, with several observers noting that their own husbands behaved in a similar way to the man in the video.

“Girls, I truly sympathize with you, truly,” the star told her audience.
