The Kremlin will host a ceremony where President Vladimir Putin will present and honor works for children and youth in the spheres of literature and art, recognizing the creative efforts of young authors, illustrators, and performers. The event underscores the state’s commitment to nurturing young talent in the arts and to highlighting achievements across diverse cultural disciplines, as reported by the Kremlin press service and relayed to the public through official channels.

According to the Kremlin, the awards are intended to acknowledge innovators in the creation of gifted literary and artistic works, the implementation of creative and research projects in the arts, librarianship, as well as museum and publishing activities. The program is designed to celebrate both individual artists and collaborative teams, emphasizing the value of fresh perspectives and collaborative spirit in shaping the cultural landscape for younger generations.

Three awards are designated for emerging cultural figures who are under 35 and who have produced works aimed at children and youth. These honors are available to a single applicant or to a team of up to three people who have demonstrated merit in their respective fields and shown potential for long-term impact in culture and education.

Among the recognized young talents, sculptor Ekaterina Pilnikova, ballet dancer Sergei Polunin, and director Aidar Zabbarov were named as recipients, each lauded for contributions that bridge artistic discipline with youth engagement. Their work showcases a blend of visual art, performance, and storytelling that resonates with younger audiences and inspires aspiring creators.

A separate Literary and Artistic Prize for works for children was conferred on the team of Alexander Galibin, Inessa Kovalevskaya, and Larisa Feoktistova. Their collective achievements reflect a dedication to literature and art that fosters imagination, literacy, and cultural literacy among children and families.

In related news, the theater award previously known as Hit of the Season has evolved into the broader recognition program. The winner of the Great Crystal Nail, the Grand Prix of the awards, will be announced during a solemn ceremony scheduled for April 3 at the XXI Theater Center On Strastnoy. The event will highlight outstanding stage productions and the creative teams behind them, reinforcing the importance of live performance in national culture.
